Who We Are
Dare To Know.
Sapere Aude is a Latin phrase meaning "Dare To Know"; or, even more loosely, "To dare think for yourself." Initially used in the First Book of Letters (20 BCE) by the Roman poet Horace, associated with the Age of Enlightenment.
Premier Magazine PH is a digital magazine for the entertainment business, and tech industry published monthly on the ISSUU platform. It showcases information from the "end-user / reader and the provider/ business owners."
"Premier," as we dare visualize where we will be in the future, is a challenge to our team and a commitment to the public. The world deserves a well-informed generation not driven by the mere gain on returns but the aim to serve its readers by providing "real" and future stories that will educate and empower readers for advancements in entertainment, business, and technology.
We hold high regard for Filipinos with unique and innovative ideas that inspire and "dare readers to know" more.
Premier Magazine Philippines was established in January 2021 during a very trying time. This event made us more driven to go the distance and pave the way for more creative and valuable content and partnerships.

Art is long; life is short. "Ars longa, vita brevis." is a Latin translation of an aphorism from Greek, roughly meaning, "skilfulness takes time, and life is short." The aphorism quotes the ancient Greek physician Hippocrates's first two lines of the Aphorismi, which validates the stories we have lined up for our first issue this year.

We don't know how else we, as Asians, can help a country more affluent than we are during a time of war, but in our little way, we hope we can help appease the pain of those who were left behind. We hope that one day their right to a peaceful coexistence finally happens. Unfortunately, some rules don't apply in some places, no matter how golden.

Maiden Issue, Famas Digital Awards, Space
Where else do we begin but home? Premier's first issue remains an all-time high reader generator due to the first Famas Digital Awards, the Oscars counterpart in the Philippine movie industry in terms of prestige and profound connection to the Filipino audience. It also brought in significant stories of Filipino filmmakers across the globe as we featured different countries where we found them eager to share real stories during adversity. All this while the world transitioned to a different shape as technology took over our lives, one app, one significant tech improvement at a time. We digitally leaped out of this world "to space." The Space theme was consistent from social media to Premier, as our cover featured the actual photo of a star in the Milky Way covered by the reel part of the FAMAS trophy in digital format.

CNY / The Great Silk Road Issue
Our February issue is about the great Silk Road, just in time for the Chinese New Year. Here, we featured the WeTV / Iflix lineup of future shows to come for the Asian audience as we presented part two of FAMAS Digital Awards, complementing our deep dive into the cross-sections of businesses between the East and the West; tech giants all, we took their stories to complete an exciting issue.

Women's Month / EXPO 2020 / World Water Day
March is what we call our "Wow!" Issue. For the first time, we featured a woman on our cover. Her Excellency Reem Al Hashimy is at the helm of the EXPO 2020 UAE, and we continue to support an enormous undertaking, the kind that only happens in our dreams! As much as the content is impressive, royalty deserves more than a real accolade; it is a privilege to be granted access to a global project by different countries.
We also highlighted World Water Day in March as we witnessed how important it is to take care of our basic needs, especially during a global health crisis.

It is the fourth Olympic Games held in Japan, after the 1964 Tokyo Summer Olympics, the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, and the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Japan has tried to host the Olympic Games on twelve occasions, winning the bid five times if you count the 1940 games canceled due to World War II. This series of events means Japan has been preparing for the Olympic Games almost constantly since the 1930s. It signifies global visibility, impacting their economy and bringing prestige to the Land of the Rising Sun.
